Got it playing, too. Unfortunately this simple set isn't much to crow about. I can receive my one local AM station but the selectivity is nil. As you can see from the schematic, this is a very basic little one-stage TRF circuit. It wouldn't do well in metro areas these days. Not sure how it would perform out in a fringe area.
