Bear in mind that this is a 3 tube set. The left-hand tube position is the rectifier RGN 1064 which is removed in this photo. There are diodes in place below the socket but I have a tube with good filament that is installed for 'looks'.
I couldn't tolerate the appearance of the 6BQ5 modification so I reconfigured it for a 6F6G.
Lastly, to the right is the detector tube. Various versions of this set used a RENS 1264 or 1284. I have a good 1284 but I found an E447 (NOS!) seems to work better.
To the far right is a thumbwheel control for antenna tuning.
